Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards 2021

The Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards 2021 shortlist was announced today at 4 pm GMT. The global pandemic has changed the structure of the awards (we hope temporarily, compare to last year), but the Stanford Dolman Travel Book of the Year, the Bradt Travel Guides New Travel Writer of the Year, and the Edward Stanford Outstanding Contribution to Travel Writing will be awarded.

Vivien Godfrey, Chairman and Chief Executive of Stanfords, says, “We’re delighted to announce the shortlist of such varied and truly unique titles. These books act as a tonic for us all during these times when travel has been halted and adventures have been limited.”
